- Thanks to all the folks who answered my enquiries a couple of months ago
- regarding ham radio in Canada. now, I've got a new one for y'all - I'm
- here in Canada now, and I'd like to operate packet. Which frequencies do
- I use, and does anyone have a copy o f the appropriate regs? Are they
- significantly different from the US laws? I don't want to wind up in a
- Canadian pokey for stepping on someone's toes up here... Thanks!!

- So if I monitored the INPUTS of closed repeaters, measured their PLs with a

- I don't cause interference? What if I monitored inputs of autopatch-equipped
- machines, decoded the DTMF codes being used and then proceeded to use the
- patch without permission?

-
- No, that is NOT the moral at all. The code test is an ARTIFICIAL requirement
- imposed by bureaucrats at the FCC; it has nothing to do with working to
- produce something of value to others in order to earn a reward from them.
